Active boundary is complete!
What started out as a pretty spectacular boggy mess, has now been transformed. George built this wonderful active boundary so little ones have exciting ways to enter the Forest School, whilst practicing their gross motor skills at the same time.
All materials were found on site, the fencing is built out of pallets, and the stile and steps were left over scraps. The caving tube is also left over from the caving activity LSAC have on site.
To put the active boundary in place we started by digging a trench around the perimeter of the designated space, the left over mud has create the “mud mound” and then it was lots of shoveling gravel to even out the ground.
It has been really hard work finishing this, but it looks fantastic and I’m feeling very lucky to have such a talented and supportive husband!
